The Saor Life Retreat is a space where you are free to be YOU.

It’s a beautiful opportunity to meet like-minded people, slow down and go inward, and build a deeper connection with yourself. Over the weekend, we’ll spend time outdoors exploring our beautiful country, expressing ourselves freely, and of course having plenty of craic !!

This retreat is a chance to switch off from the noise of the outside world and really just enjoy the present moment!

As a group, we’ll enjoy yoga, breathwork, adventures in nature, sound bath, cacao, meditation, music, movement, connection, games, delicious home-cooked food, and more.

The weekend will be hosted by myself, alongside a few incredible friends who are amazing at what they do (if I do say so myself).

This retreat is for anyone who’s interested in self-love, personal growth, nature and adventure, or simply trying something new. It’s for those who love wholesome vibes, meaningful connection, and having fun in a supportive, alcohol-free space.

Most people will be coming solo, so please don’t be afraid to come on your own – it’s often where the magic happens. That being said, you’re also very welcome to come with friends.

If you’ve been feeling the call to slow down, reconnect, and choose yourself – this weekend is for you.

Hey there, I’m Cathair !

I am the creator of The Saor Life, a space rooted in freedom, connection, and living life fully. I’m a free-spirited person with a deep love for life, nature, community, adventure, and personal growth. I’m passionate about self-love, expressing myself freely, and appreciating the simple things.

However, I haven’t always lived this way. For a number of years, I felt lost and struggled with my mental health. In 2019, I set off on a journey of reconnecting with myself – learning to love and accept all parts of who I am, while travelling, trying new things, and having plenty of fun along the way.

That journey is a huge part of why I created The Saor Life. Saor means free in Irish, and freedom is one of my core values - free from the things holding us back in life, free to be who we are, free to truly enjoy life!

After moving back to Ireland a few years ago, I made it my mission to bring the same sense of freedom I felt while travelling into everyday life at home – reconnecting with nature, community, movement, creativity, sobriety and FUN.

Through The Saor Life, I want to create spaces that offer all of the things that make me feel truly alive – whether that’s a wholesome weekend retreat like this one, or alcohol-free activity days, trips and adventures that will be coming very soon.

I’m incredibly excited about this journey, and I’m so grateful that you’re here :)

Retreat Information:

Location: Mucklagh Lodge, County Wicklow

Availability: 15 spaces

Who can attend: Anyone aged 18+

Whats included: All food, accommodation and activities are included in the price.

Transport to the retreat is not included- but I will be making a groupchat before hand to see if anyone would like to share lifts!

There will be no wifi or phone signal at the retreat- meaning you will have the opportunity to switch off from the outside world and fully immerse yourself into the present moment. There is an emergency phone if you need to use it.
Mucklagh Lodge is a magical venue surrounded by acres of thick woodland and hidden away in the depths of the Wicklow mountains. It is stunning and really shows the beauty of Ireland. You will be sleeping in a single bed, sharing the room with one or more persons. If you are booking with another person, you can request to share a room.
My brother Joseph, who is an extremely talented chef and baker, will be with us for the entire week providing delicious, nutritious food and treats!

Friday: x1 Dinner
Saturday: x1 Breakfast, x1 Lunch, x1 Dinner
Sunday: x1 Breakfast
Along with some delicious snacks!

Secure Your Place

A non-refundable deposit of £111 is needed to secure your place. The full amount is to be paid by 1st May 2026. I will contact you via email regarding how to make the payments once you have paid the deposit.
